Medical Student International Exchange Program

The AHPF’s Medical Student International Exchange Program is an overseas educational program at the American Hospital of Paris for a select group of fourth-year medical students from our New York affiliate, New York-Presbyterian’s Weill Cornell Medical College to spend 6 weeks at the American Hospital of Paris to learn about another culture’s approach to medicine while being mentored by physicians at the American Hospital of Paris.

Understanding how other health care systems are organized and financed is so important for medical students. The clinical electives program Weill Cornell has with the AHP provides such an opportunity for Weill Cornell students. The AHPF makes this experience possible.
