Our laboratory for biomedical analysis provides twenty-four-seven services to the patients and medical teams of the American Hospital of Paris. It is also open to outside patients for lab tests prescribed by their primary care physician. The laboratory is government-regulated (for reimbursement by French Social Security).

The laboratory is managed by one biologist and also includes four assistant directors.
The laboratory complies with strict quality standards established by French and American health authorities. Every four years, it undergoes inspection by the French national authority for health (Haute Autorité de Santé) to maintain its certification. It is also audited every two years by the Joint Commission, an independent American organization and the main accreditation agency for health institutions in the United States.
